Nadia Gennaro

Registered Social Worker, Certified Reiki Master and Life Coach

Hello and welcome. My name is Nadia and I am a registered Social Worker at Addiction Conscious Treatment (A.C.T.). I am also trained as a certified Reiki Master and Life Coach. My passion has always been to help people lead their best lives. I love working with people to help them discover what brings them joy and what strategies they can use to lead them on the path towards greatness.

I am a believer in KINDNESS and COMPASSION. I look for ways to help people not feel so alone. I love to teach people how to look within themselves to find all the answers they seek.

I too have been impacted by the tragedy of addiction within my family. As a supportive caregiver to my uncle and cousin who lost their battle several years ago, I have experienced the devastating effects that addiction imposes upon the family unit.

My belief is that the addictive vice is the failed solution to profound trauma and emotional pain. I believe that when we expose and heal past traumas, build awareness and help people become empowered they are given the tools and opportunity to make incredible shifts in their lives towards healing and recovery. I teach people that we are not our feelings; we are not the experiences of our lives. Those were simply moments that were fleeting and do not define the truth of who we really are. Every day we have the chance to change our lives and become a better version of ourselves. Does it take work and effort? Of course. But living in addiction also does. I actively work with clients to choose their hard, and to choose a path that leads them towards living a life that is healthy, happy and overall fulfilling.

At A.C.T., clients are given the opportunity to explore various holistic modalities of healing. We work together to come up with individualized solutions and techniques which assist in overcoming triggers and help clients remain in recovery. You have the right to reclaim your power and return to peace, joy, happiness and personal fulfilment.
